Tally Extends Insurance Cover for Silver/Gold 8.1

Accounting software provider Tally Solutions has extended its free business insurance scheme with every copy of its newly launched TallySilver 8.1 and TallyGold 8.1, the latest version of its small enterprise product, Tally Financial Accounting and Inventory Management software.
This insurance cover is available till March 31, 2006.
TallySilver/Gold software now support entry of data in all unidirectional languages and scripts, concurrently. Users can interact with the software through all commonly performed functions by choosing from the built-in vernacular interfaces. Interfaces in additional local languages are being added to the software progressively.
The TallySilver/Gold 8.1 will be available for retail purchase by March 2006. However, the company has already begun to
provide attractive pre-booking deals for those interested.
Tally software is available for purchase at most computer hardware and software vendors in over 150 locations across the country.
The company has also stepped up the number of regional sales offices from five to 15 in 2006.

I think now there is a momentum in the Tally Solutions. Previously, tally was passive and use to introduct new version as on demand. Now I think, the company is introducing the new version looking on political condition. Also I think giving a new version no and making it all together a new software is hard and difficult, BUT IF IT IS A REALLY NEW SOFTWARE. Rest is all know as all major compu dealers and partners would be aware of new marketing game. Introduction of tally 8.1 which of course would be different from 7.2 as per the company sources would be charged extra amt of Rs xxx. In Feb 2007, i predict the announcement of Tally version 9.0 and the pattern would continue to go on and users have to pay on regular basis like as usual. INDIAAN DIPLOMATIC DEMOCRACY.
