Unistal Launches Internet Data Recovery Services

By ChannelTimes Staff
Mumbai, Feb 6, 2007

Unistal Systems has announced the launch of its online data recovery services through its new website www.idatacare.com.

Through this, the security vendor has attempted to provide instant solution to its customers and partners across the globe. Once Unistal s proprietary connectivity tools link-up the customer's server or PC, the technicians at its Central Recovery Lab (CRI) perform the recovery or repair process circumventing the need to send the media (hard disk) to Unistal s master labs.

The company is in the process of appointing several online partners across the globe. The customers therefore, can recover their data from their own premises from across the globe or from any of the authorized Unistal online partner s facility. If the customers send the media to the data recovery center of the nearest Unistal online partner, they can track their data recovery process online as well.

Unistal s online recovery services are available for different types of media and operating systems and can perform data recovery from all versions and types of Windows, Linux, Macintosh, Novell, UNIX, RAID servers, mail servers, database servers.

Alok Gupta, director-marketing, Unistal Systems said, "This service from Unistal enables us to expand our operations and offer data recovery services across the globe in a short time.

Unistal is currently recruiting Over the Net or online data recovery service partners and aims to have around 300 such partners in India.

The company already provides in-lab data recovery services at its data care centers in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Dubai and its services from Chennai and Pune will commence from April 1, 2007.
Should more vendors opt for such services?

Online or Remote recovery can help to an extent but with hard drive crashes primarily occuring on account of Physical damages i see a limitation. Stellar can help much better because of its wide network

It's all about extending your services and business leveraging the power of Internet and that's precisely what Unistal has done. It won't have to sell just boxes anymore...Great going Mr. Gupta.
