A&S Creations Rolls Out Wristop Computers in India

A&S Creations, a distributor of Finland-based Suunto has announced the availability of ABC (altimeter, barometer, and compass) wristop computers in India.
The new Suunto Core combines advanced ABC functions with new benefits like a height/depth meter, sunrise and sunset times, a renewed user interface, and a menu in four languages.
Offered in six models, from urban to outdoors, the Suunto Core includes functions like dual time, countdown timer, and comprehensive sports chronograph.
"Over seventy years of outdoor experience combined with feedback from climbers and skiers worldwide have allowed Suunto to design the product. With market growing fast, we are positive that Suunto Core will do very well in India," says Sumit Sabharwal, director for A&S Creations.
Accurate to 32,760 feet (10,000 meters), the altimeter in the device displays current elevation, shows elevation gained and lost, and records sessions for review. The automatic alti/ baro mode switches between altimeter and barometer modes depending on the activity level. Thus, it shows the most relevant information for each situation. With the single push of a button, the altimeter starts at zero and begins tracking a hiker's or climber's ascent and descent.
The product's barometer measures and records air pressure and displays graphic weather trend to help users predict changing conditions. The Storm alarm helps climbers and hikers avoid potentially dangerous situations. Activated by a rapid drop in air pressure over a three-hour period, the Storm Alarm sounds and flashes, letting the user know that foul weather is fast approaching.
The Suunto Core ranges between Rs. 19,700 to Rs. 29,500 and are available only through A&S Creations' distributors across India. It may be recalled that Suunto is a designer and manufacturer of sports instruments for diving, mountaineering, training, hiking, skiing, sailing and golf. A&S has a sound distributor and channel partner network all over India.
