An External Memory Card Reader That's Easy to Use

Sony Electronics', the provider of optical storage devices, latest External Memory Card Reader - MRW62E-S2 - is targeted primarily at home, SOHO and professionals who have a variety of memory cards to read at various locations.
A USB 2.0 interface and with no additional power required makes the new card reader easy to use.
Introducing the new card, Edmund Tan, assistant manager-sales and marketing for computer peripherals products in applications & devices marketing (Singapore) (a division company of Sony Electronics (S) Pte Ltd), said, "Today when most of the users use one or the other type of memory card, it becomes vital to introduce an external card reader that can be carried and used easily anywhere."
The new external model can read all the popular types of cards including Memory Stick Duo Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick PRO Duo, Memory Stick Micro, CompactFlash, Microdrive, SmartMedia, xD-Picture Card, SD Memory Card, mini SD Card, Multi Media Card and RS-MNC.
Elaborating about the new model, Kapal Pansari, a director at Rashi Peripherals. said, "Today Indian users largely prefer smart phones and digital cameras over any other devices/gadgets, and to get maximum they need extra storage, which the various cards are able to suffice. Now to be able to get the data on to your PC or laptop one need to have a good quality card reader, which Sony provides."
The small dimension of 86 x 50 x 15.7 mm (W x D x H) makes it convenient and handy for users to carry it to any place for usage.
The suggested retail price for MRW62E-S2 is Rs.700 and is available in silver color, keeping with the trend of colored laptops and desktop PCs.
