LG Unveils New B2B Monitors

LG Electronics has announced the launch of its new LCD monitor - the 1942S. As per the company, this ergonomically-designed LCD monitor is primarily being targeted toward business users. This monitor is designed to fit into almost any business environment from a regular office setting to a computer lab or even a retail environment.
Commenting on the new launch, R Manikandan, business group head (Monitors and ODDs), LGEIL, said, "We have incorporated a number of innovative features into this new monitor to help people work more effectively and comfortably. This monitor is designed to meet the needs of people doing various types of work in different environments."
The monitor offers the ability to tilt the screen by up to 30 degrees. The soft mechanism in dual hinge and height enable users to adjust it conveniently. It also improves work efficiency and convenience by reducing users' physical fatigue like shoulder and neck pain caused by computer work, the press release said.
It also offers strong enough graphics capabilities to be used by designers, architects, graphic artists and video producers. It boasts of a 5 ms response time that keeps even fast-moving content crisp and reduces ghosting. An 8,000:1 contrast ratio provides superior color differentiation, making it easier to read charts and graphs or to use graphic intensive software like computer aided design applications.

The 1942S is available in the Indian market at a market price of Rs. 10,200.
