Samsung Offers its Flagship Model 'Soul' in India

Samsung Telecommunications has announced the launch of its Flagship model Soul (SGH-U900) in the country. The company has also launched 8 new advanced mobiles, namely - SGH-i780, Samsung D780, Samsung E251, Samsung M120, Samsung J150, Samsung BeaT450, Samsung Guru 300.


Sunil Dutt, country head of Samsung Telecommunications, said, "We believe that Soul is the answer for today's style-conscious consumers, looking for a perfect blend of outstanding quality, design and performance. We are confident that the Soul will enhance the Samsung consumer experience in the premium phone category."

The phone features Magic Touch by DaCP, navigation indicators on the keypad of the phone - that change according to the users' needs, making navigation of the menus simple, intuitive and direct. The navigation panel's icons change according to function. For example, when in music mode, music related icons will light up on the navigation indicators. When in camera mode, camera related icons such as zoom and brightness icons will appear.

It is even equipped with features such as face detection, image stabilizer and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR). At only 12.9mm thin, the device is equipped with professional photographic functions including a 5-megapixel camera.

Users can easily access Internet through the 7.2 Mbps High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) browser and share images or video taken with the phone. It even features Music library navigation, digital power amplifier by ICE power technology by Bang & Olufsen ICE power.Soul is priced at Rs.20, 585.

The Samsung SGH-i780 features a full QWERTY keyboard and full touch screen. It is priced at Rs. 25,000.

The Samsung D780 is a tri band, dual sim phone with a SIM toggle key; 2.1-inch QVGA TFT Display; 2 Mega pixel camera, FM Alarm, MP3 Music player, e- mail with XHTML, Bluetooth and Bluetooth printing capability and supports up to 11 hours battery talk time.

Samsung E251 is the latest addition to the Music phone segment.

Samsung M120 represents the 'Next' in terms of entertainment mobile phones from Samsung, with its stylish chrome finish and entertainment features. The handset is equipped with MP3 music player, Stereo FM radio, video camera, GPRS Class 10, cricket game and call time tracker, English messaging and 10MB internal memory. It is priced at Rs 3795.

Samsung's J150 is a 9.9 mm slim; premium, and metallic design mobile phone. It has a 1.9" large display with 1.3-mega pixel camera, MP3 music player, FM radio, bluetooth connectivity and expandable memory (MicroSD). It is priced at Rs 5300.

Samsung BeaT450 seeks to give users a Mobile Theatre experience. It is priced at Rs.14,799.

The company has strengthened its popular Guru Series with the introduction of Guru 145 and Guru 300. The Guru 145 represents the entry level in the Guru series, with its pricing of Rs.1696. It comes with an 8 hours battery talk time, 65K Colour CSTN display, Speakerphone, Mobile tracker and 16 poly ring tones.

Samsung Guru 300 offers multimedia features such as FM recording, MP3 ringtones, English messaging, Indian calendar and Java games (cricket and Sudoku). The handset is priced at Rs.2999.

The Samsung Guru range now comprises of four models - Guru 145, Guru 100, Guru 200 and Guru 300 and is priced in the range between Rs 1696 to Rs.2999. With the introduction of Soul and the 7 new models, the Samsung mobile phone range is now available in the price range between Rs 1696 to Rs 27599.

How can i upload my photos in my Samsung M120 to PC? What is the compatible disc for me to use so that i can upload my pictures? Thanks

Until the ease of use of their mobile software is improved, people will be not be impressed. Menus need to be user friendly and easy.
