  Abhishek,Samsung is the market leader worldwide as well as well as in India.We have currently more than 40 % marketshare in Monitors in India as per IDC,Q4 2005 results.  Shashi Lohiya,Softium Systems,Anand :

  Abhishek,Samsung TFT Monitors are having a premium postioning in the market as we offer the best quality and value for money to the customers.Add the excellent channel network that we have with partners like you, we lead the market in TFT with 38% marketshare in Q4,05 as per IDC.In Q1 this year, ...

  I am sure you are aware of Samsung Bond to win program for SIs.With effect from 10th April, we have added our TFT monitors in this program.So this program now includes CDT & TFT Monitors,HDD & OMS.This is valid till 31st May,06.

  Q: What steps are you taking for futher improvement and making your after-sales services better?

  We are increasing our coverage in C & D Class cities as our focus this year.In addition to this, we will be taking improvements to provide faster TAT for our HDDs.You can expect some exciting announcements in this regard soon.

  Q: How is Samsung biz now in the market compared to LG?

Rajeev Singh :
  We are clear market leaders in CDT as well as TFT Monitors.As per IDC report of Q4,2006,we have 41% markethshare of CDT branded market while LG is at 32%.In TFT, we have a big lead over LG with 37% marketshare over LGs just 15% share in Q4,05

  Q: Other competitive brands are offering the same quality at low prices as compared to Samsung. Are there any plans to revise the same?
The availability of 19 inch, 20 inch and 21 inch TFT is not good in flow as many times we need to wait for long. Please do the needful.

Rajeev Singh :
  Sudhanshu,Samsung quality is definitely better than competition and we dont want to be a price leader.At the same time TFT prices keep on going down as worldwise markets are shifting to TFTs very fast and major production capacity expansions are taking place.We have revised our 19" TFT prices...

Rajeev Singh :
  ...this month and we are much more competitive now.The availibility will also be better for these SKUs in April.Pl. note that we are the only company that Manufactures TFT monitors in india and we offer most consistant supplies.

  Q: On the matter of special schemes and offers, Samsungs competitors have been more aggressive, as they offer better schemes and execute their commitments in time.Please comment?

  I think we offer better schemes.What do you say about bundling a laser printer free with our 17" TFT monitors and many such offers.I agree with you 100% that we need to make major improvements in settling our schemes faster and our focus is in that direction.In Samsung bond to win scheme, we are...

Rajeev Singh :
  ...offering redemptions any time which we have never done bofore.For free laser printer promo with 17" TFT, we will settle this scheme in 45 days after the clousre which is 15th May with the end consumers.

  Q: What is the warranty policy for your monitors

Rajeev Singh :
   Rajesh,3 years warranty.

  Q: We often face lots of problems in replacement of HDD, You should provide quicker replacement services to boost up the sales...
With regard to the offer of free printer with TFT we didn?t get any response or feedback. Please comment.

Rajeev Singh :
  Mayank,as i replied in response to an earlier question, we will make our HDD TAT much better and free laser printer scheme will be settled by 15th May.Pl. note that it is an end consumer scheme only.

  Q: What is the current service structure at Samsung?

  Q: The clearing of old stock should be faster as at times we face a lot of problem to sell the old stock which we get from the distributors

Rajeev Singh :
  We always try and finish them before launching new products.Anyway, i will note your concern in this regard.

  Q: There is no service station of Samsung in Ujjain, why? What is the replacement policy of Samsung?

Rajeev Singh :

  Q: What is the use of DNIE in Samsung monitors?

Rajeev Singh :
  Raja,Digital Natural Image Engine(DNIe) gives you brighter and clearer images.That is the user benefit.

  Q: Channel Partners are not getting price list for new products as well as for the old products. Please rectify this...

  For the month of april,there is a price reduction mainly in 17" & 19" TFT models.

  Q: There was some manufacturing problem with Samsung HDDs. Has this issue been taken care of by the company?

Rajeev Singh :
  Siddaraju,I think that was a long time back.There is absolutely no quality/manufacturing problem with Samsung HDDs.

Dear Support, I have purchased a Samsung make CRT Monitor from your show room. Details are as bellow. Model no:- SyncMaster 793s S/N:- S00JJ20XB69507 Purchase Date :- 10/02/2005 This monitor comes with 3 years warranty. Now monitor have color problem on Date:- :21 Aug 2007 I have launched the complain no 8405830107 for the same on Date:21 Aug 2007. But that complain terminated by the Samsung service station due to my unreachable phone. Then I have re lunched the complain No. 8405830107 for the same on date 5th sep 2007. Service engineer Mr.Naresh Thakkar come to attend the problem from surat Samsung serveice station on 14th sep 2007 and said, ?This problem is not covered in warranty, So you have to pay for that?. I ask him to give me the service report with same thing written on that. He has denied for that, then again I had ask for the same, at this time he started shouting loudly & badly misbehave with me & my parents. we are the media people running studio at chennai-india, we are using 7 air conditioner(split) machines at our studio. everything is going fine still last month, when we bought new samsung splic AC at December 2008 at SHAHS-Chennai , when it strated it was good for few days afterwards its started stinking the whole room, so that we called the customer care persons, they came and said that nothing fault with machine and the fault was in the external pipe. we changed the pipe with their supervision, again it started stinking. after that we called customer care people 7 times, every time they come and telling different reasons...we made all changes what they said still the problem persists. AC is getting problem, if we switch the temperature above 22. The problem is so worse that two of our staffs got respiratory infection. We can't tollerate this anymore.. and we never expected something like this from samsung. here after we think, we should think twice before buying any samsung product. We had registered another complaint today(19/02/09) by 11.30 am.They promised to come today itself..now its 5.30 and nobody had turned up. we are no longer interested to spend anything on this AC again.. this is for your kind information.. thankyou complaint no. 8406720055 rgb, S3, SPL Subh Vihar,57/27, Bazullah Road,T Nagar, Chennai ,Tamilnadu 044 - 28140507 / 579 . mob: 09884359184,

dear sir i have a beautiful showroom in alibag chondi main retail area road touch property 3000 sq ft, best for showroom for your products,alibag is getawy for rich n famous of mumbai wt speedboats,hving villas of 10,000-50,000 sq ft, demand is tremendous, no showroom for electronics, can offer same to you, can take a look at the same,no better site n location ,let us know

Dear Sir, I lodged complaint for repair of LCD monitor on 20August2008, but till date complaint is not resolved. And i don't get any call about status. Though i called sales manager pune but he is not responding. please guide me about how to raise the complaint (monitor which i purchased is 7 month old & failed 3 times within this period),Thankining you Santosh(09763701791)

your customer engineer call me about my complain and he tell me on phone my monitor data cable is problematic and data cable is not covered in warranty and he tell me it is charged 175 Rs. for this repairing, very first day this problem found in my monitor why should pay for this? Already my monitor repaired 4 times by Samsung engineer. This problem is pending from very long time. Please help me........ dear sir 17-08-2007 i gave a complain sumsong service station (complain no is 8402168164)that my samsong moniter(sync master 793) is not working.6 day over there is no respond. when i am calling 1800 11 00 11 they are telling we will send the person.this is called servise. in 2005 i perches same moniter from surabhi computer shop bill no is 8829. same problem happened whit that moniter your people are not abale to repir and told now its work. due to that problem i sold it only 1500 ruppise.this time after repiring the moniter iwill sell it and going for LG.GOODBYE SUMSONG
