  Mr.Murtuza - The network security business in India is growing multifold. The UTM market itself growing at more then 60%...

  I beleive there is still a lot to happen in the Security market in India and a very large number of networks are without proper security solution- hence a big opportunity for all of us.

  Q: What kind of preparation are required to deal with network security products?

Tushar Sighat :
  Mr. Shakul - A good question! If you are already into installing of IP networks and are well versed with networking- you can definitely sell UTM solutions.We have trainings which can help you suggest an appropriate secutiry solution to your customers.

  Q: What kind of support is generally assured from the vendors end?

  Mr. Abhijit - The training required by the partner is more on understanding the UTM technology and the products so as to be able to suggest the best solution to the customer and also hands on training by technical engineers to be able to install these products....

  In these trainings we share with you latest security trends and also keep you updated regularly on the new innovations.

Tushar Sighat :
  We have joint emailing activities, joint seminars and roadshows for partner customers, joint advertisements and exhibitions. Partners can take benefit of these to make their presence felt stronger in the security market and generate revenues.

  Mr. Abhijit - I would say this is a big opportunity as security market has not opened up as yet. There is a lot of opportunity to be explored. For a reseller there is a good opportunity to get revenues from these products if he invests on right resources. Also this being a new growth wave margins...

  ...will definitely be better as a new technolgy always gives you high margins until it settles down. So overall good business potential for resellers

  Q: How can a small reseller with limited resources join the network security business?

Tushar Sighat :
  Mr. Amit - As mentioned earlier we have security product solutions for SOHO and SMB customers also. These are easy to suggest and install - we also provide you telephonic support to install these. There is our toll free number 180030100013 to offer post sales support....

Tushar Sighat :
  Mr. Afzal - In security you have 2 models - either you can sell a security product or provide services to the customer. There are various ways of exposing these - we can discuss these seperately later.

  Q: I m very eager to know about Network Security , Bcz I m CCNA and I m interested to join CCNP which is I think Network Security based. I wanted to know about scope of Network security and their marketing stratagy.

  Mr.Sathya - we support our partner with trainings,pre sales support, post sales installation support, post sales support and at times joint calls to customers. We extend all our support to the partner to help him convince the customer and close the deal.

  Q: This is not a physical product selling. Can you give some idea how the profit sharing is done normally?

Tushar Sighat :
  Mr. Abhay- This is a physical product selling! We have 7 main products - CR 25i, CR 50i, CR 100i, CR 250i , CR 500i , CR 1000i and CR 1500i - these are based on the number of concurrent users your customer has. These have then the security services such as AV/AS, IDP, CF subscribed on these.....

Tushar Sighat :
  ...You can suggest the product to the customer with 1,2 or 3 year subscriptions. Since it is product selling you make profit on a sale. Also for the next year when the customer has to renew the subscriptions gives you opportunity for recurring business every year.

  Q: Is there any opportunity for marketing collaboration on profit sharing basis?

Tushar Sighat :

One Question, Why Old Sales/technical team is leaving Cyberoam after empowering the product in market for last 4-5 years? Why company let them Go?
