Neoteric Introduces Umax Max Power UPS

Neoteric Infomatique India has announced the launch of Umax Max Power, designed for the Indian market to take care of power cuts and fluctuations.
The Umax Max Power works on optimum loads, like the UMP-500 would take up loads up to true 550VA and the UMP-1000 would take up to true 1kVA with an AVR input voltage of 140V-300V. The battery backup time is up to 35 minutes and 70 minutes for UMP-500 and UMP-1000, respectively on the maximum side considering the power load. The battery automatically gets charged when the UPS is in off mode.
Rajesh Thadani, business development manager, Umax, said, "The UPS is a true value-for-money product and is truly Indianized considering the tolerance required in the different parts of India where the voltage fluctuations are high. It primarily targets the Soho segment which can protect their valued documents and data from power cuts."
The Max Power is priced at Rs 1,700 onwards.

The big mistake they are doing is relying on UMAX brand. They must know that UMAX was a Scanner Company and They were doing good in Scanners as customers of Scanner segment preferred UMAX branded scanners. Now taking hte UMAX brand and they try to sell anything and everything will not work. LCD monitors? Now speakers? and now Power Products. I think something is going wrong. They must reconsider or creating this brand is going to be waste of money. |
