Taiwan-based A-Data Technology has entered the Indian market with its complete product lines, which include DRAM Modules, USB Flash Drive and Memory Cards, which are covered by a lifetime warranty.
Initially, A- Data will provide the best service and marketing to promote its brand and raise its market share. The company will supply the local service and put more resources continuously in India.
At present, the company's products are available in Indian market through its regional distributor who sits in Kolkatta, Delhi and Mumbai. In the words of sales manager Chris Cheng, "A-Data is committed to India market, and has big plans with lots of branding exposure in coming months. It will be talking of service issues with its dealers to give buyers more confidence in the company."
Contextually, the company was established in May 2001. At the beginning, with DRAM modules as the major product line, A-Data's mission was to become a global leader in memory products. Later, it diversified its product portfolio to include flash peripherals and multimedia solutions.
Capitalizing on the strong growth of DRAM memory and flash related products in the market, based on DRAM exchange 2007 and Interbrand 2007 reports, A-Data ranks second in the world for DRAM modules.
