AGS Infotech, a provider of state-of-the-art technology solutions, has signed an agreement with State Bank of India (SBI) for 1000 ATMs worth approx Rs. 50 cr. Under the agreement, AGS will supply, install, commission and maintain ATMs and ATM sites.
As per the arrangement, once the bank selects an ATM site, it hands it over to AGS for total implementation services (TIS). TIS involve building the bank's ATM centers along with all related equipments like UPS, AC, etc.
Sunil R.Udupa, President & CEO, AGS Infotech, said, "The first phase involved installing a minimum of 303 ATMs in three circles of SBI within one month. This included a fair number of ATM sites to be built within the same time frame. This tested our strength and we are happy to have achieved the target set by SBI."
