Gigabyte India, a manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards, today announced an enhancement of the warranty and RMA support infrastructure for its motherboard and graphic card products in India.
Accel Frontline, a Chennai-based warranty services outsourcer with over 36 offices in 34 cities and 100 service locations in India, has been appointed to manage the Gigabyte support and service program on an end-to-end basis. Accel will look into the post-sales support for the customers, assisting them up to the chip repair competence.
Commenting on its new service initiative, Rajan Sharma, general manager MB and VGA BU, Gigabyte India, said, "We are keen to provide prompt, high quality tech support and warranty service to our growing base of customers in India. This entire initiative will be supervised by us continuously and we will ramp up support infrastructure in line with our product sales pattern."
The revamped support program is designed to offer free, simple, limited steps and prompt service for products bought through authorized resellers in India, the company said. Effective from April 2008, Gigabyte tech-support and RMA service will be available to customers through 22 Accel Frontline locations and the existing 16 D-link service locations. For technical email support, customers can send an email to rmagigabyte@accelfrontline.in
Gigabyte will stock adequate buffer quantities of its motherboard and VGA card products at major Accel Frontline and D-link warehouses across key market zones including in B, C and D class cities in India.
As a result of these initiatives, Gigabyte said it is now fully geared up to provide 48-hour service in all metros and 72-hour support in tier 2 and tier 3 locations across India.
