Acer's Display Products Division Head Resigns

Alankar Pandian, National Product Manager in charge of display products and projectors at Acer has announced his resignation from Acer with effect from 1st February.
He had been instrumental in making the Acer LCD Monitor a leading brand in the Big Wide TFT segment in India (Q3 - IDC). Also, the company's market share grew from 3 to 23 per cent during his tenure.
Pandian has been with Acer for the last 32 Months. Prior to that he was with Phillips (24 Months) handling the Monitors and Projector Division for East and South, and before that with HCL OA Division as the Area Manager for 4.5 years.
Pandian said his relationship with channel partners had helped him grow and he owes his success to them.

Acer is a good Brand now,I dont foresee any problems, provided Adequate stocks are in the market, and pricise price calls are taken in the right time. And the assurance to the Channel partners about the two points mentioned, Acer can take the leap forward.
And importantly try routing all Direct orders thro your Channels, which was not happening.
Increase the National distributors in all geographies, as it would mean more billing options for the channel partners.
