Aditya to Push Pinnacle's Media Center Range
By

Mumbai, Apr 29, 2005
Aditya Infotech, the New Delhi-based distribution company and part of the Aditya Group of Companies, intends to make every Home PC media center-compatible with the Pinnacle range of products.
Aditya Khemka, CEO & director, Aditya Group, said, "We are today leaders in animation, post-production and video-editing products in the country. This year you will find us redefining the Home PC with Pinnacle Media Center product range in India where we intend to make every Home PC media center-compatible."
With the non-metros emerging as the markets of the future, the company plans to focus on B, C and even D class towns with greater interest. Khemka said, "The video editing market is still at a nascent stage. Not even 10 percent of the market has been tapped in the home segment and the real growth is yet to come. So is the case in the consumer market where only 25 percent is being tapped. I can see double the growth this year in this segment."
The company is also looking to open demo centers to promote Pinnacle products across the country, based on market conditions. It had opened one such center last year in Mumbai for support, demo and training. The company has also entered into animation education by starting the first Autodesk-Discreet training center of Southeast Asia in Mumbai this month. In addition, the distributor has planned five roadshows for the broadcast market in June.
Apart from the Pinnacle range, Aditya also plans to push the Typhoon brand of products with the launch of approx. 100 products. "You will see us very aggressively in the input devices and speakers market under the Typhoon brand, capturing a good market share this year and taking the top position by end of next year," he added.
Aditya will launch 10-plus Typhoon speaker models by June, with rest of the products to follow. It will also run a mass media and demo center campaign. The distributor is currently on the look-out for new channel partners.
