By

Joining the bandwagon of anti-piracy movement, Adobe Systems has launched an initiative, which comprises education and enforcement measures. The campaign, which targets both end users and businesses in India, began in New Delhi with a number of enforcement activities.
"Adobe is working hard to educate the market on the risks associated with using pirated software. It can breach personal and business information security, and even interrupt business continuity as businesses recover from the damages. We will continue to promote intellectual property protection by working alongside local governments and agencies. We will try to identify resellers, businesses and end-users who produce, distribute and sell unauthorized copies of Adobe software," said Sandeep Mehrotra, director - Sales, Adobe (India).
As per the latest report released by the Business Software Alliance (BSA), 69% of personal computer software in 2007 was obtained illegally that impacted revenues of businesses in the region.

forcefully asking somebody to buy original software should not be policy.Adobe should come out of TLP,CLP and BOx and they should start suppoting SOHOs and SMB's with flexible SIGN UP offers.
and then they should educate on board users about original softwares. |

If someone is obtaining a product illegally and using it for commercial gains as well, any company has the right to create a policy to identify them and forcefully ask them to buy the software in order to use it. |
