Adobe to Focus on Training for Deeper Penetration

To provide designers and developers with a broad spectrum of creative options, Adobe introduced Creative Suite 3 product line in India and will also be conducting road shows to foray into the B and C class cities with the new product.
"We are planning to conduct road shows in 14 cities including B and C like Chandigarh, Kochi in order to focus on potential channels in those regions," said Sandeep Mehrotra, country sales manager, Adobe India.
Recently the vendor also conducted channel jumpstarts in 8 cities wherein they upgraded the channels regarding the latest technology in Adobe and gave them demos to make them aware of the product, which in turn will help partners in their business.
"We are planning more such activities on quarterly basis and frequent interaction with the strategic partners to understand the market better," added Mehrotra. The vendor is also planning to appoint Adobe authorised resellers who will be given specialized training and help in education customers about the products.
The vendor is also going to host a number of marketing activities to promote their products. "We are going to conduct channel as well as key customer training programs to increase awareness about the product," he noted. For the partners they will also be starting upgrade offers.
As far as the verticals are concerned Mehrotra said, "In this financial year we would focus on advertising, printing and publishing, BPO, animation, education, e-learning and content providers."
To make the Suite 3 widely acceptable among the educational institutions the vendor wants specialized courses be made available to the students so as to make them well versed with the product. "The education segment is having a tremendous potential and for that we are going to conduct design and other relevant institutional workshops in the colleges," stated Mehrotra.
There are six all-new configurations of Adobe Creative Suite 3. which include design premium and design standard editions; Adobe Creative Suite 3 web premium and web standard editions and Adobe Creative Suite 3 production premium and Adobe Creative Suite 3 master collection.

What ever you try do, it will not be a success Model, As you need change the total stategy of your working. Adobe was doing great Guns during the period of 2001 to 2004. What happened we dont know. |
