Aladdin Knowledge Systems, an information security provider specializing in authentication, software DRM and content security, announced that it has joined the Juniper Networks J-Partner Program to offer enterprises its eToken 2-factor authentication devices with the Juniper Networks Secure Access SSL VPN solution.
The interoperable solution enables enterprises to deploy a flexible, secure and scalable solution with multiple secure remote access technologies, including VPN and wireless, along with digital certificate (PKI) authentication and one-time-password (OTP). The combined solution will also provide organizations a means of continuously complying with industry regulations for accessing sensitive data - such as PCI standards, HIPAA, SAFE, and Sarbanes-Oxley - through verification of user identity for access privileges.
Doug Erickson, director of worldwide alliance and channel development at Juniper Networks, said, "Aladdin eToken solutions in combination with Juniper's Secure Access SSL VPN solutions extend the secure remote access experience beyond endpoint devices and enables customers to securely access their networks."
"By partnering with Juniper Networks, we are able to offer a comprehensive secure remote access solution to the identity and access management market," said Phil Pavay, vice president of global business development at Aladdin Knowledge Systems.
Aladdin eToken smartcard devices, including eToken Pro, eToken NG-FLASH and eToken NG-OTP, are now immediately available in conjunction with select Juniper SSL VPN solutions. The eToken OTP solutions enable secure access to the Juniper SSL VPN client via secure one-use password and username credentials. Aladdin's Token Management System (TMS) is also available for full lifecycle device management of all Aladdin eToken devices.
