Alvarion Ltd., a provider of Wimax and wireless broadband solutions, is extending its presence in India and bringing in advanced wireless broadband solutions adapted specifically to the local frequencies, through its partners, Cyberstar and WirelessTech.
Alvarion is offering its high-performance BreezeACCESS VL for point-to-multipoint and BreezeNET B for point-to-point connectivity to meet the increasing demand for optimized solutions at 5.825-5.875 GHz frequency bands in the Indian market. State-wide area network (SWAN) projects and vertical markets including ISPs, public safety, surveillance, etc. can benefit from these feature-rich products.
Rajesh Kapoor, sales director for India at Alvarion, said, "We are pleased to extend our business in India with our partners, Cyberstar and WirelessTech. We rely on our partners to help us win important projects and penetrate new market segments throughout the region, and we look forward to mutual business opportunities in the future."
Approved by the Wireless Planning & Coordination (WPC) Wing of the Ministry of Communications, India, Alvarion's BreezeACCESS VL and BreezeNET B license-exempt solutions are carrier-grade products, designed from bottom up for reliable services with low maintenance needs. Features such as non- line of- sight (NLOS), extended reach, high-capacity in all packet sizes, encryption, and end-to-end QoS for time-critical applications are key to its success, the company said.
