Apple iPod Shuffle Now Comes for Rs.2,300

By ChannelTimes Staff
Mumbai, Apr 19, 2008

Apple's most wearable music player iPod shuffle is now affordably priced at Rs.2,300 (local taxes apply) for the 1-GB model. Apple also introduced a new 2-GB model of the iPod shuffle for Rs.3,200 (local taxes apply).

"At just Rs.2,300, the iPod shuffle is the most affordable iPod ever," said EY Yeo, senior product marketing manager, Apple Asia Pacific. "We've also introduced a new 2-GB model that lets music lovers bring even more songs everywhere they go in the impossibly small iPod shuffle."

The popular iPod shuffle comes in 4 colors - silver, blue, green and purple. The iPod shuffle will keep users entertained for up to 12 hours of continuous audio playback. Take up to 240 songs on the 1-GB model or up to 500 songs on the 2-GB model. It has a built-in clip for carrying it conveniently.

"With most flash-memory music players, users must use tiny displays and complicated controls to find their music; with iPod shuffle you just relax and it serves up new combinations of your music every time you listen," said Yeo.

The iPod shuffle syncs seamlessly with iTunes. iTunes' "Auto-fill" function allows the iPod shuffle to randomly select songs from your music library and sync them.
