As a part of its new service initiative in India, Asus has set up a service outlet - Asus Royal Club - in Bangalore. As per a company communique, this center will focus specially on motherboards, optical drives and graphics cards.
Additionally, this center will conduct basic training sessions for its customers about Asus' technology.
The company has announced extended three months warranty on Asus products for customers who will register themselves with the center within one month. Along with its earlier launched toll-free number, Asus will offer free diagnosis for all notebooks.
The company also plans to open seven such service centers in India: Mumbai (2), Bangalore (2), Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai. Bangalore's second service center will be opened in Q4, said the company.
"At Asus Royal Club, we help our customers connect with their gadgets. We are opening our own service centers to understand the customers' problems and give better solutions. In the second stage of our initiative, we plan to provide service to our upcountry customers," said Albert Tung, MD, Asus India.
