BenQ Cautions Partners Against Parallel Importers
By
ChannelTimes Staff
Mumbai, Nov 22, 2006
BenQ today asked the channel partners to be cautious of the dealers who trade in parallel import products, avoiding custom duties and other import levies. Also, since these products are not registered with BenQ India, the company cannot extend the regular service and warranty policies to its customers.
Jimmy Ju, IT Head, BenQ, said, "We have been growing very fast particularly in LCD monitor business, which could lead to import of our monitors through parallel importers. Hence, we believe there is need to caution our channel friends so that we can continue to deliver our regular services and support to our loyal partners."
BenQ urged the channel community to purchase through their certified authorized dealers so that the channel friends can get full mileage of various schemes and benefit programs that the company would extend, and also the end-customer would receive prompt service to his content.
BenQ has a network of dealers pan-India, certified by the brand to market and sell BenQ products, who are BenQ's Authorized Premium Partners only.
