BenQ Debuts 21.5-inch Full HD LCD Monitor in India

By ChannelTimes Staff
Mumbai, Sep 06, 2008 1553 hrs IST

BenQ, the digital network devices company, has made a new addition to its LCD monitor array with the introduction of the E2200HD. As per the company, it is the world's first 21.5-inch full HD 16:9 LCD monitor, featuring 100% mapping to 1080p content.

The new monitor, equipped with BenQ's advanced 'Full HD' technology, delivers 100% dot-for-dot rendering of full HD content from devices like Blu-ray DVDs, PS3s and HD camcorders. It renders 1080p full high definition content such as Blu-ray movies and console games without the need to crop, stretch or resize the content to fit the screen. The 'Full HD' technology enables the users to view full HD content in its original format.

Incorporating BenQ's Advanced Motion Accelerator technology, the E2200HD creates true-to-life images with reduced visual noise at a response time of 2 milliseconds (Grey to Grey). The monitor features 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 1920 x 1080 native resolution and 300-nit brightness, rendering dark details with razor-sharp clarity, along with the rich, vibrant display of 16.7M colors. With the help of HDMI and DVI-D interfaces (both with HDCP support), and Windows Vista Premium Certification, the monitor offers high definition display solutions for increased productivity at work.

The new LCD monitor also features BenQ's exclusive Senseye+photo technology, which instantly optimizes viewing for all home and office applications. The new monitor also comes with integrated speakers.

The E2200HD LCD monitor is available through BenQ dealers at a price of Rs.13,500.

Two additional E series 1080p models will be introduced later, featuring HDMI and HDCP, 2ms GTG response time and Windows Vista premium certification.
