BenQ LCD Monitors Get Vista Certification

BenQ, the digital network devices manufacturer, announced its LCD monitors - FP93G S and FP93GX - have received Windows Vista Basic certification.
Robert Dung , MD, BenQ, said, "As the most secure, reliable and manageable operating system in the history of Windows, Windows Vista will add to the credibility of BenQ LCD monitors and will enable us to differentiate our products with the clear, trusted promise of great Microsoft Windows computing experience."
For Vista Basic certification, LCD monitors should be supported with EDID (Extend Display Identification Date) data structure and have a VGA resolution 640x480. BenQ's FP93G S and FP93GX are in compliance with these requirements.
