By

Mumbai, Oct 30, 2006
BenQ, the provider of digital network devices, recently partnered with Digitronics in Delhi and Royal Infovision in Ludhiana for its new BenQ IT Zones.
The company now has four IT Zones - two in Delhi, one in Mumbai and Ludhiana. It plans to open 50 such outlets in the next one year in top 10-12 cities. It plans to tip up with BenQ Value Partners for the retail outlets.
Robert Dung, managing director, BenQ India Middle-East, Africa, said, "Channel partners are the face of our company as they deal directly with our customers and resellers and so they have to be well-versed with the latest technology and its various applications. This will enable them to increase their profit margins, which means growth for him and for the brand as well."
Ish Bawa, marketing head, BenQ-India, said, "BenQ would provide service support, product awareness, training and stocks to these retail partners, but the sales execution and transaction would be executed by them. We intend to tie up with consistent partners who have expertise, loyalty, experience and the urge to go retail. The potential and demand is in the metros, mini-metros and A-class cities, which would be our primary focus."
He added, "The main motive is to increase the SI and reseller base of our channel partners by facilitating such IT Zones. We have begun by tying up with Scope and Digitronics in Delhi, Transgrip in Mumbai and Royal Infovision in Ludhiana."
BenQ aims to upgrade aspiring and performing key select partners to open IT Zones. and with support of promotions help them increase their sales turnover and also add to their profitability.
BenQ IT Zone offers the customers an opportunity to experience the technology and applications of LCD monitors. In addition, customers also get the chance to experience and enjoy other hi-end technologies such as fast response time, AMA, Senseye and TV tuner applications.
