BenQ Releases FP92W LCD Monitor & MP510 Projector
By

Mumbai, Jan 29, 2007
BenQ, the digital network devices provider, announced the availability of new products in India including the BenQ FP92W, claimed to be the world's fastest LCD wide screen monitor, and the new BenQ MP510 projector for young, professional and tech savvy.
The company displayed the products at the recently held gaming event SKOAR! 2007 in New Delhi where it was the official display partner.
According to Robert Dung, managing director, BenQ IMEA (India-Middle East-Africa), "Today entertainment is not only limited to just watching movies on small TV screens or playing games on small monitors, the customer has become more technology savvy and is shifting to big screen monitors for watching movies and playing hi-tech games. Also, with the advent of latest hi-tech games, movies and animation there would be an increasing demand for fast and wide screen LCD monitors as compared to the CRT monitors. Anticipating this demand, we have introduced BenQ's FP92W wide screen monitor and BenQ MP611c projector."
Ish Bawa, marcom head, BenQ India, added, "Presenting our world-class products at one time and that too under one roof was a daunting task. However, through SKOAR! 2007, we have accomplished this successfully enough. We've been receiving a phenomenal response for our products bringing unparalleled cost and efficiency benefits to the end-customer."
The FP92W wide screen monitor comes with a 5 ms-response time and is targeted at the technology led and digitally inclined customers. The monitor provides sharper images and smoother motion video while effectively reducing unwanted interruptions caused by lagging or blurring, the company said. Its 700:1 contrast ratio and 300 cd/m2 brightness offers distortion-free images and visual experience, making it ideal for both business and home entertainment.
The new MP510 projector is an affordable big screen home entertainment suited for gaming due to its high visual performance and color reproduction quality. Built for solid performance with a 1500-lumen lamp and 2000:1 contrast ratio, the MP510 adds wall color correction so one can enjoy picture quality that's easy on the eyes even when a projector screen is not available. And at 22dB, MP510 is one of the quietest projectors in the market.
