Buffalo Announces New Storage Solution for SMBs

Buffalo Technology, a provider in wired and wireless networking, recently announced the TeraStation WSS utilizing Windows Storage Server for small and medium businesses. Incorporating a new x86 hardware platform, the TeraStation WSS features four quick-swap SATA hard drives, a heavy-duty power supply, and redundant RAID technology, providing a dependable and cost-effective storage solution for businesses of all sizes.
The TeraStation WSS offers file security for the SMB by utilizing Window's NTFS file system providing extremely granular file and folder permissions. Coupled with the native Active Directory support, the TeraStation WSS provides a new, extremely cost-effective solution to the SMB and beyond, said a company release. The TeraStation WSS features Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 Express Edition and helps businesses store and protect their digital assets.
