CA World 2008 to Showcase Channel Strategies

CA, the global independent IT management software company, announced plans for CA World 2008. This year's conference will include a symposium on channel partners which will address the market penetration and profitability objectives of resellers, integrators, and other business partners.
To be held from November 16 20, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada, CA World 2008 will bring together CA customers, business partners, and employees from around the world to exchange IT management strategies for transforming IT from a cost center into an enabler of innovation and business growth. The guest keynote speaker is Jack Welch, former chairman and CEO of the General Electric Company (GE).
"CA World offers a unique opportunity to network with the best and brightest IT management leaders from across the industry," said Don Friedman, CA's chief marketing officer. "This year's event will provide an insight into how enterprise IT organizations can redefine their value to the business, delivering greater efficiency and supporting new innovation and growth opportunities."
The event also will feature keynote addresses by CA CEO John Swainson and Al Nugent, CA's executive vice president and chief technology officer.
Attendees will be able to choose from more than 800 conference sessions in such critical areas as application performance management, data center and workload automation, governance, infrastructure management, mainframe and multi-platform application development, security management and service management.
The attendees also will have access at no additional charge to hundreds of hands-on labs, education courses, technical "campgrounds", and solution-specific user group meetings. A state-of-the-art exhibition center will showcase hundreds of exhibits and demonstrations from CA and strategic business partners.
CA is also featuring a symposium on Business Management and IT Management this year.
