Mumbai, Oct 28, 2006
ChannelTimes is preparing itself in full swing for the unique and first-of-its-kind ChannelTimes Awards. The Awards have been instituted to honor the best in the channel community across the nation, to empower and encourage them on their contribution, and more importantly, acknowledge and re-iterate their importance and growth in the IT world.
Ever since its inception, ChannelTimes has always pioneered in addressing the concerns of the channel fraternity and voicing their issues unequivocally. After six years of consolidated and credible presence in channel representation, CT is taking the privilege to roll out the most prestigious award - the "ChannelTimes Awards" - in December 2006 in Mumbai.
The Awards have received an overwhelming response so far with enthusiastic voters praising this initiative as an effective platform provided by a successful media solutions company. G. Kumar Khanna, branch manager, Access2future, Vizag, said, "These Awards encourage the entire channel fraternity to do well and promote healthy competition between us partners."
Kartik Shah, director, Bitscape IT Solutions, Ahmedabad, said, "These awards also boost the distributor's and reseller's morale to provide better services to their customers."
Thankaraj K, manager, Rashi Peripherals, Kochi, said, "These Awards are a great way for channel partners to grow their business and increase their confidence." Commenting on the advantage accruing to the partners, Thankaraj said, "This will be advantageous to the winner as this award will add value to his business and increase his credibility, consequently encouraging him to improve the quality of his service to his customers." Thankaraj said he considered voting for the channel partner as his responsibility and believes that every partner should exercise his voting right wisely.
With "ChannelTimes Awards" in Mumbai as a milestone, ChannelTimes intends to carry this venture ahead and provide an opportunity for the incredible channel community to be recognized, rewarded and respected. With a transparent and credible voting procedure, coveted and imminent jury members and the pioneer in news for channel space, ChannelTimes intends to make this award the most coveted and sought-after award event and to pay a tribute to the pulse of the IT industry - the Channel Partners.
The "ChannelTimes Awards" is presented by Intel and co-partnered by Lenovo, APC and Logitech.
