Canon Demos New Range at Photofair 2008

Canon India, the digital imaging company, showcased latest technologies at the recently concluded prestigious Photo Fair (India's largest photography exhibition) 2008.
On this special occasion, Canon unveiled their latest technology for 2008 on face track and select, AF "point" zoom, and motion detection.
This year Canon also showcased an entire new and expanded range of D-SLR lens and accessories at the exhibition. Canon set up a demo center wherein consumers could experience the new technology. Apart from this, the printing major hosted photography workshops, seminars and small fine art exhibition of the works of Atul Kasbekar and Akash Das.
Speaking on the occasion, Alok Bharadwaj, senior vice president, Canon India, said, "Canon has been a major player in the Photofair always, and we are honored to be associated with this exhibition year after year. Canon provides high-level support to photographic excellence."
He added, "Canon believes such events help in promoting the profession of photography and brings home the latest technology and modern trends of the world. Photo Fair is the Mecca of the photographic industry."
Canon has planned a multimedia campaign with Sachin Tendulkar as the brand ambassador.
