Cee Vision Gets Aggressive With New LCD Range

After being low-key in the market, Cee Vision Technologies is again getting aggressive in the market with the launch of its new LCD range under its CMV brand name as well as channel initiatives.
The vendor has announced the launch ist LCD monitors in 17", 19", 20" and 22" in the country.
Speaking about its plans,K. P. S. Narayanan, chairman and managing director, Cee Vision Technologies, said, "We will bring the 22" monitors in the market by the end of August and will bring the 24" by November 1. Our focus at this point is on the 17" and 19" with 15" becoming outdated."
The price range for the newly launched LCD range starts from Rs 9,999.
The company had also organized a channel meet in Delhi and was attended by 70 partners. Currently, Cee Vision is focusing on cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, Bangalore and Chandigarh. Narayanan informed, "We are also strengthening our channel base in the country. We would be appointing about 50 more partners to the present number by September end. The target is to have 200 partners by December 2006." The current partners base is around 60 in Delhi.
The service support issues are taken care by RT Outsourcing. Forging ahead with its channel plans, Cee Vision plans to capture 5 percent of the LCD monitor market by the end of this year.
