Check Point Offers Total Endpoint Security

Check Point Software Technologies, the web security solutions provider, recently announced a new software that delivers total endpoint security in a single, centrally-managed agent.
The new solution - Check Point Endpoint Security - protects PCs by providing security and eliminates the need to deploy and manage multiple agents, reducing total cost of ownership. According to the company, it is the only single agent for total endpoint security that combines the highest-rated firewall, network access control (NAC), program control, antivirus, anti-spyware, data security and remote access.
Commenting on the launch, Gil Shwed, chairman and chief executive officer at Check Point, said that the single agent "with the most comprehensive endpoint security features effectively erases compatibility issues and the pains associated with trying to deploy and manage multiple endpoint agents".
Added Bhaskar Bakthavatsalu, country sales manager, India & Saarc, Check Point, "Our unified agent for total endpoint security significantly reduces the total cost of ownership and provides organizations with enhanced security." Also the cost associated with audit and management would come down considerably, he said.
Designed to protect company laptops and PCs against malware, data loss and theft and other threats while enabling secure remote access to the corporate network, the new solution simplifies security by providing a single software agent, single management console and single installation easily deployed and managed by a single administrator.
Check Point Endpoint Security Secure Access Edition is available immediately and can be purchased through Check Point's worldwide network of value-added resellers. Other editions will be added and available in Q2, the company said.
Check Point solutions are sold, integrated and serviced by a network of Check Point partners around the world.
