Compulink Becomes MS 2007 Ready Partner

By ChannelTimes Staff
Mumbai, Oct 25, 2006

As part of its Enterprise Project Management (EPM) specialization program, Microsoft showcased Compulink Systems' Office Project 2007 integrated 'Whizible 2007' at the PMI Global Conference held from October 22-24, 2006 in Seattle, making it 'First to Market' partner for the Microsoft Office Project 2007 platform solution.

Vishwas Mahajan, chief executive officer & managing director, Compulink Systems, said, "Integrating quality management systems with delivery systems in professional services organizations or service-centric organizations has always been a challenge. Institutionalizing the quality processes (PMBOK, CMMi, ITIL) and implementing a metrics and measurement program are the two key challenges that Whizible helps our clients address."

"Microsoft's success depends heavily on companies like Compulink Systems to build specialized solutions on our platform that meet the most demanding customer needs across a broad range of markets," said Michael Angiulo, general manager, Microsoft project division.

While Whizible, a suite of service execution management solutions, is targeted at service-centric organizations or professional services organizations and tailored for high-growth verticals like IT services, engineering design services, corporate IT and compliance, Office Project 2007 is designed to address the work and people management needs of today's organizations.

Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 and Project Web Access provide a powerful horizontal platform for managing (planning as well as monitoring) projects, along with its associated tasks. Whizible 2007 utilizes this base technology and wraps around it to provide a vertical solution for the above needs.
How significant is Whizible 2007 for partners?

Dear All, If you are looking for Project Management (PM) Software pls. make sure that it is Web based, Enterprise level, Role based and developed on Java. It should also help you to manage your programs across Multiple Locations and at different Time Zones. It should also help you to track/monitor your project information and status in Real time from a Single point. Make sure to that your chosen PM software does not force you to either purchase separate data base and or MS project. I suggest you all must have a look at "CAMeLEAN" software for Project Management.
