Corel Releases Designer Technical Suite X4

Corel Corporation, a developer of graphics, productivity and digital media software, has unveiled Corel Designer Technical Suite X4 -- the latest version of its technical graphics software.
According to the company, this suite addresses the technical illustration workflow, and enables users to create technical documentation, instructional manuals with precision and speed. The suite is available in English, French and German.
It provides file compatibility -- including 3D design formats and AutoCAD DWG and DXF -- while delivering precision tools for illustration, bitmap-to-vector tracing and professional photo editing. The suite offers an optimized workflow, multi-language support and easy network deployment, the company claims.
"Corel Designer Technical Suite X4 was developed with the needs of technical illustrators in mind. The integration of professional illustration, photo editing and bitmap-to-vector conversion tools provides illustrators with the solution for complex projects," said Klaus Vossen, product manager, Corel Designer Technical Suite.
