D-Link has further strengthened its distribution model by announcing its tie-up with Redington for distribution of its products/solutions across India. D-Link had recently announced its enhanced distribution model by appointing Ingram Micro as its national distribution partner.
Announcing this new tie-up, Rajesh Sahore, VP-channel development, D-Link (India), said, "In the current economic scenario where the market is expanding at a very fast pace and holds some great business opportunities, it is imperative for any organisation to have a strong channel presence. Redington is one of the leading IT distribution players in the country and can drive D-Link business to greater heights. Its extensive network of over 50 branches, strong pre- & post-sales support will certainly add value to our business and also boost D-Link s growth in India." Expressing his view on this partnership, Anand Chakravarthy, vice president, Redington India, said, "We are extremely happy to add D-Link products to our portfolio. D-Link as a brand has strong presence in Indian market. With SMB segment in India showing lots of promise for growth, addition of D-Link will help us address the channel community serving this segment in a better way."
Redington has a strong geographic presence and is known for its superior logistic capabilities, strong MIS system and effective end-to-end customer support system. D-Link shall continue to work closely with its existing distribution network of 25 regional distribution and national distributors (Redington and Ingram Micro).
