D-Link Launches New Chassis Switch Range

D-Link India has launched its new series of high port density Layer 3 chassis switches. The series aims at providing enterprise with a complete core switching solution.
Featuring the entire Layer 3 solution, D-Link DES-7100 Series, DES-7200 Series and DES-7200E Series switches are next generation switches, claims the company. They provide businesses with IPV6 (Internet Protocol Version 6) core routing, 10G over copper, high availability, high redundancy and reliability.
"D-Link new switches are the most comprehensive chassis-based switching solution that caters to specific enterprise verticals. Each switch has been specially designed to cater to the daily demands of the enterprise, and features next generation technology to provide optimum performance, even for bandwidth intensive applications," said Jayesh Kotak, VP (Product Management), D-Link.
Featuring a modular architecture and industry standard compliance, these switches provide scalable expansion and investment protection for businesses and telecom carriers.
The 7100 Series targets education and medium business, 7200 Series aims at BFSI and government segment, while 7200E Series is for data center & service providers.
