D-Link, McAfee Offer Safe Internet Access Solution

D-Link India has teamed up with McAfee to provide customers a safe high-speed Internet access solution. Now, customers buying D-Link broadband routers will have 90-days free McAfee VirusScan Plus.
As a part of SAfe-Link initiative, D-Link has simultaneously introduced a new ADSL2/2+ Router - GLB-802C - so that buyers can immediately capitalize on this offer. This combo offer would be a key part of its broadband strategy.
Jayesh Kotak, VP (Product Management) of D-Link India said, "With the Internet driving the emergence of a massive consumption by the Home Market, the demand for faster access, and instant data is driving large scale technology manufacturers like D-Link to provide better, faster and more secure broadband products. D-Link has teamed up with McAfee to offer its customer's one-stop solution for high speed and secure personal computing."
Kartik Shahani, regional director (India) of McAfee said, "Protecting customer data from Internet threats is McAfee's mission. It is not safe to browse the Internet without protection from over 350,000 threats that are known to exist."
According to the company, GLB-802C is a versatile and high-speed router that supports up to 24Mbps download speed and firewall protection with SPI. The combo offer will enable first time broadband user to go live right from the start with secure high speed access through a broadband router.
