D-Link NetDefend Firewall Earns ICSA Labs Cert

D-Link, the provider of networking and communication solutions, recently announced that it has received ICSA Labs' corporate-level firewall certification for its NetDefend DFL-2500 Firewall.
With the certification of their top tier NetDefend Firewall model, the company expects the rest of the NetDefend Firewall series to finish the certification process very soon, as they use the same kernel. The NetDefend Firewall series consists of the DFL-210, DFL-800, DFL-1600, and the DFL-2500.
Suitable for large enterprise, campus, or government institute environments with up to 600 employees, the DFL-2500 offers firewall/VPN performance of 600Mbps/300Mbps, 2500 IPSec VPN tunnels, multiple WAN link failover, and is equipped with 8 gigabit definable network interfaces.
D-Link's NetDefend Firewalls allow employee workstations and critical servers to work and provide regular services in a secure and reliable environment.
It combines dedicated firewall core architecture with a high-density multi-network interface platform, and integrates virtual private network, intrusion detection and prevention (IDP/IPS), detailed bandwidth management, multi-line failover to WAN, OSPF, policy-based routing, server load balancing, web-based user authentication and D-Link's ZoneDefense end-point security technology.
The NetDefend Firewall can be used for Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs), corporate businesses, and in campus network environments.
ICSA Labs certifies over 95% of the installed base of antivirus, firewall, IPSec VPN, cryptography, SSL VPN, network IPS, anti-spyware, and PC firewall products commonly deployed in the world today.
