D-Link Takes 'bits2009' to Sri Lanka

As part of its initiative to promote green computing solutions, D-Link recently conducted a two-day education program for channel partners and end-customers in Sri Lanka.
The focus of the seminar was on government, education and the corporate sector. So far, bits2009 has travelled across 29 cities in India and Sri Lanka in Saarc region.
The event saw participation by over 180 channel partners.
Talking about D-Link's green initiative, Jayesh Kotak, VP-product management, D-Link (India), said, "D-Link as an organization has always been committed towards providing environment-friendly networking product/ solutions. We have been the pioneer in green networking. Our green devices provide eco-friendly alternatives without compromising on performance. They are designed to help conserve energy, protect our environment from harmful substances and reduce waste by using recyclable packaging." Also present at the event was Venkatesh Kamath, VP-operation, south region at D-Link (India). "D-Link has a wide range of products/solutions that cater to different verticals and is of the very few companies to offer end-to-end networking solution," Kamath said.
At 'bits2009', D-Link is showcasing its complete series products/solutions that include network switching, wireless LAN, routing, network security, IP surveillance, network storage, VOIP & Broadband. 'bits2009' will take D-Link solution offerings across 39 cities in India and three in Saarc countries. The company will soon be hitting 12 more cities, including Dhaka and Kathmandu.
