ECS Launches X58B-A Black Series Motherboard

Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS), a manufacturer of motherboard, graphics card, barebone system and notebook, has launched a new X58B-A Black Series motherboard based on Intel X58 Express chipset. The motherboard supports the new Intel Core i7 processor.
The X58B-A features architecture of Intel QuickPath Interconnect up to 6.4GT/s, triple channel DDR3 1600MHz memory and support of both ATI CrossFireX Technology and Nvidia SLI technology.
The board supports the new VRD 11.1 power specification for providing unprecedented computing capability with highly optimized energy efficiency. To meet the requirement of memory-intensive applications, ECS X58B-A comes with a triple channel memory architecture that supports DDR3 1600MHz memory up to 24-GB capacity, the company said.
Designed for the gaming and graphics applications, the ECS X58B-A features the support for both ATI CrossFireX technology and Nvidia SLI technology with dual x16 PCI Express Gen2 slots to enhance the graphics performance.
