Eaton Corporation has signed a distribution deal with Redington India to distribute Powerware UPS systems throughout India. This alliance is Eaton's first all-India distribution agreement for the Powerware brand.
As per an Eaton communique, the alliance will help the company provide increased support for customers using power protection, distribution and management products. Commenting on the partnership, Anand Chakravarthy, head (Strategic Business Unit, Networking, Storage & Power), Redington India, said, "Through this agreement, Redington will be able to cater to the ever expanding power quality solutions market. This deal will make Eaton s highly reliable, state-of-the-art single phase UPS available to our channel partners."
"Distribution channels are critical to the success of a company s expansion. Through this partnership, Eaton will benefit from Redington s reach and infrastructure for making Eaton s products available to channel partners. Their experience and capability in executing large deals and existing relationships with major IT companies is also a plus," said Deepak Sharma, general manager (SAARC & South East Asia), Electrical Group.
