Emerson Appoints Vasudevan Rajagopalan as VP

Emerson Network Power announced the appointment of Vasudevan Rajagopalan as Vice President- Solutions, succeeding Shrikant Bapat. Rajagopalan will now overlook Emerson s channel business and leverage its strong relationship with its partners for achieving the company s business goals.
As his responsibility, Vasudevan will now handle sales and marketing and positioning Emerson as the pioneer and leader in enabling Business-Critical Continuity.
Commenting on the appointment, Sandeep Nair, managing director, Emerson Network Power India, said, "Vasudevan has been an integral part of Emerson since its inception. Vasudevan understands the intricacies of the business and has vast experience in handling several challenging assignments and a strong hold on all the businesses that Emerson addresses." he further added, "We expect his leadership will help company achieve its business growth and new markets like Datacenter, Enclosure solution etc."
Vasudevan said, "The market is growing exponentially and I will focus on maintaining the leadership of Emerson in the enterprise and SME segments and would aim to consolidate our position by garnering a substantial market share in the channel products also."
At Emerson Network Power India, Vasudevan has headed South and North Zones and also led the businesses like IT, Telecom Vertical. He also worked with channel and handled Micro product Business. Prior to Emerson, he was with Systroncis for two years. Vasudevan is a graduate engineer in electrical & electronics engineering.
Prior to this, Vasudevan was heading the South Zone of Emerson Network Power India.
