Epson, a provider of digital imaging and printing solutions, has unveiled its EB-825 projector, a wireless-capable multimedia projector. Offering users the cable-free projections from wirelessly networked computers, the new Epson EB-825 projector stores the projections of JPG image files in flash drives or PCs using its USB port.
To allow for mounting in out of the way or inaccessible positions like high on walls or under ceilings, the projector's settings can also be remotely managed using a PC or notebook. Its convenient access allows users to clean or change its air filter or lamp easily. The projector also sports a 10-watt integrated speaker that can play sounds from videos or presentations.
For its light source, the Epson EB-825 projector features the Epson-Twin Optimized Reflection Lamp (E-TORL) that offers lamp lifespan of 6000 hours and is 20 percent more efficient than conventional projector lamps, the company claimed.
The EB-825 projector features Epson's 3LCD technology and has a native resolution of 1024 x 768, and a contrast ratio of 2000:1. Images from the Epson EB-825 projector are projected through a lens that has a 1.6 x zoom range.
The Epson EB-825 multimedia projector is priced at Rs.77,800.
