Epson Looks For New Partners For thINK Series

Epson India announced plans to induct about 600 new channel partners by the end of this year to cope with the increasing demand for their new thINK series. At present, the company has 2,400 channel partners out of which 1,100 are retail stores.

S. M. Ramprasad, manager-comsumer products, Epson India, said, "We are looking to assign new retail partners, who shall be classified either as Epson Certified Partners or Epson Retail Partners.after tracking their progress for the first six months. Our strategy is to have good products that are marketed with the help of good channel partners. Acceptance of Epson's products have been phenomenal and we owe credit to our partners."

He added, "Any partner who is interested must be consistent and committed to us. He must take care to realize that the 2,400 partners have literally grown with us and have remained very consistent. Also, he should have space to give a demo of our products to his customers and must be open for push-sales. We can assure him that by selling our products he can expect a good profit margin although the pricing is driven out of market compulsions."

Soon after they are appointed, the new channel partners will be given a fresh sales training course, which starts by Q1 of 2007. After-sales support will be provided by 200 Epson authorized service centers present across the country.

Currently, Epson has 56 regional channel partners, but no national distributors.

Dear Sir, I have bought one projector from your authorized channel partners - Gujarat sr no is J3YG661230F,and in the same day it's start happening the problem same i have given Epson service station, now your service people is telling me that projector lamp has been broken and it not cover under warranty, i do agree for the same, i said you please check the projector lamp in other projector, instead of support channel partners they are asking me to give your other projector to check the lamp, it is all most 20 days over till date no body is ready to answer me Positively regarding this issue, how can Epson claim that they are no 1 in service satisfaction, i think Epson is not interested to sell the projectors. As i disparately follow up with Epson Ahmedabad and b'lore office but no body is ready to give right answer. I come lastly as i dos not have any option hope will meet soon with solution.
