Excel Ropes in Priya to Distribute PC Games

Excel Interactive, a gaming company and a sister concern of Excel Home Videos, has tied up with Priya IT Telecom to distribute PC games through traditional IT channels.
The games that will be distributed through the tieup includes Crysis, Fifa 08, Cricket 07, NFS-Most Wanted and also recent launches like Power Rangers and Pirates of the Carribean - At World s End.
"IT distribution is witnessing an unprecedented growth over the last few years at a robust above-35 per cent growth. We envision an opportunity for gaming to grow via this unconventional mode," said Anand Pandit, business head of Excel Interactive.
According to Aditya Bhuwania, director, Priya Ltd, "We saw there was an opportunity here to distribute PC games in our channel, and in Excel we saw their inherent strengths in their tieups with EA Sports, Disney and other such companies."
Priya Ltd is a distributor of PCs and PC products, including AMD CPUs, Axiom - Car invertors, Krypton SMPS and internal modems, MSI motherboards, VGA cards, notebooks and Vxl - thin clients. It has branches in 20 different cities in the country.
