First Canon Professional Zone Comes up in Delhi

Canon, the digital imaging company, has launched its exclusive Canon Professional Zone, for professional photographers at Foto Color Emporium, Cannaught Place in New Delhi. The store was inaugurated by Alok Bharadwaj, SVP, Canon.
Nozaki (Canon Singapore), Stefanus Indradi (Canon Singapore) and Shunichi Senda (director ICP Canon India) were also present to grace the occasion. This showroom displays the entire range of DSLR cameras and selective EF lenses and accessories. The company aims to open similar outlets in Mumbai and Bangalore.
Canon Professional Zone allows the professional photographers and other amateurs to touch, feel and experience the Digital SLR Cameras with combination of lenses, flashes and accessories providing the right ambience under one roof. Most importantly, customers can obtain first hand information on entire range of products and make an informed choice of purchase. This is an attempt to provide customers with an interactive and informative shopping experience.
Bharadwaj has said, "Launch of Canon Professional zone is a unique concept, and a significant step to promote the interest of photography. Through these stores, Canon hopes to reach out to the customers - especially the professional photographers and amateurs with an objective of showcasing Canon's strength in its range and technology. Overall Canon's presence has expanded to 4000 outlets and is expected to increase it to 6000 by December 2008. Increasing the company's presence across all retail formats; Canon will be opening large exclusive Canon showrooms in all the major markets across India.
