Mumbai, Oct 9, 2007
For its city road shows, Genius has covered 11 tier-2 cities across India. These include Mysore, Coimbatore, Cochin and Hyderabad in south; Pune, Goa, Surat, and Ahmedabad in west; Jaipur and Lucknow in north and Ranchi in east.
In these training programs, Genius showcased its capability and future products, which included scanners, DV Cams, Bluetooth products, noise canceling head phones, gaming products, digital cameras etc.
The event was well received by the dealers and resellers from these individual cities, as more than 1000 channel partners participated in these shows. The shows were addressed by the senior officials of Genius, including Sandeep Ramani, country manager KYE Systems, as well as by its distribution partners like Transtek, Tirupati, Ingram Micro, and Redington.
Each event was interactive, with the partners taking active part in the discussions. At the end of the events, there were lucky draws.
Ramani's presentations involved discussions about the brand strategy, channel strategy, service strategy etc. with the partners.
Commenting on the events, Ramani said, "It's been a great experience for us. I'm happy that people have started recognizing and understanding the brand strength of Genius. Our basic purpose of conducting the seminar was to make the partners aware of the range, and quality and design of Genius products. We wanted to convey to the people as to how effectively Genius can influence the lifestyle of the users."
He also added that the second phase of the program is likely to be in the Q3 of this fiscal, which will cover the eastern and northern regions of the country.
