Gigabyte Unveils GA-EG45M-DS2H Motherboard

Gigabyte United, a manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards, has announced the launch of new EG45 Series motherboard -- GA-EG45M-DS2H. Based on the latest Intel G45 Express chipset, the GA-EG45M-DS2H delivers extensive high-definition video and audio capabilities, claims the company. The motherboard supports the Intel 45nm Core2 Quad processors.
The Intel X4500HD graphics media accelerator offers enhanced 3D performance breaking 1100+ scores on 3DMark 06 benchmark. The G45 chipset also supports HD video playback, and includes support for Blu-ray and HD-DVD formats.
Some of its other specifications include:
TPM hardware-based encryption and decryption with digital signature keys
Use of solid and lower ESR capacitors provide system stability and longer component lifespan
DualBIOS automatically recovers BIOS data when main BIOS has crashed or failed
Built-in high-definition 7.1 + 2 channel Realtek ALC889A sound chip
Dolby Home Theater suite of audio technologies
Gigabyte products are distributed in India by Avnet India, Ingram Micro, Redington and Sahara Computers.
The Gigabyte GA-EG45M-DS2H Series motherboard is priced at Rs.9,900.
