Gigabyte Unveils Intel Q45-powered GA-EQ45M-S2 MB

Gigabyte Technology has introduced GA-EQ45M-S2 motherboard powered by Intel Q45 chipset and the Intel ICH10DO. The GA-EQ45M-S2 boasts a wide range of advanced features which makes it an ideal motherboard for high-end office PCs and entry-level workstations, the company said. The Intel Q45 chipset and ICH10DO are specifically designed to give the system administrator easier control and remote management with the help of Intel s vPro technology
The new motherboard features Gigabyte s advanced energy saving DES technology. Combining this with Intel s Core 2 Quad processors with four processor cores and a large shared L2 cache, the motherboard provides the best performance-per-watt solutions, making it perfect for video and photo editing to intensive multi-tasking environments. It is an ideal solution for SMEs as well as government and corporate sectors.
