GlacialTech, a diversified provider of cooling, power supply, PC enclosure solutions for consumer and industrial applications, will now offer its series of next generation air cooling solution to the PC enthusiast, gaming, and overclocker communities in India.
"For mainstream PC products, bulk of the market in India prefers box processors that come with an inbuilt air cooling solution," said Carol Chiu, marketing head India, GlacialTech. "Our products are therefore being selectively targeted at the growing community of PC enthusiasts, gamers and early adopters of PC technologies," she added.
In India, the company will be positioning its CPU coolers as a 'quiet', cost effective, efficient cooling solutions for high frequency and high I/O processors, Intel LGA775 and AMD Socket AM2/940/939/754, that generate considerable heat during system operation.
Glacialtech's Igloo 5710 Silent heatsink, for instance, ships with a 1600rpm fan, a pre-applied patch of thermal compound on its base and is designed as a cost effective and low noise thermal solution for socket 775 Intel Core 2 Duo and AMD Athlon64 (socket 939/AM2) processors. The high efficiency thermal compound not only cools the CPU, it also enhances system performance as well, the company said.
GlacialTech's Igloo CPU cooling solutions allow heat to be dissipated at a faster rate as well as decrease the pressure buildup around fan blades to minimize noise output.
