HCL Announces Gifts Galore with Intel-Powered PCs

PC vendor HCL Infosystems - in association with Intel - announced an on-the-spot gifts program for buyers of its desktops and notebooks powered by Intel processors.
This 6-week program, titled "Monsoon Double Dhamaka", includes gifts like Reebok bags, domestic return air tickets, and free holiday vouchers with the purchase of every Intel-powered HCL PC. In addition, customers buying Intel Core 2 Duo-powered HCL PCs get a scratch card that gives them an opportunity to win 45 gold coins, a 6-day holiday in Singapore or Malaysia, and the mega prize of a holiday in Switzerland for a couple.
Customers buying HCL Leaptops get a second scratch card that gives the chance to win up to 100% 'cash back' on their Leaptop.
Announcing the campaign, Rajendra Kumar, executive vice president of HCL Infosystems, said that campaigns like "Monsoon Double Dhamaka" reiterates the value proposition that HCL offers to its customers in India.
According to Prakash Bagri, director (OEM Business) of Intel India, this campaign will drive more home PC buyers to buy HCL's wide range of desktops and notebooks based on the Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
The campaign will run till 31st August, 2007 at over 2,000 HCL authorized dealers in more than 500 cities across India.
